I walked the path to becoming a celebrant because I believe the great thresholds of life — the first breath, the joining of hearts, the final farewell — are sacred and deserve to be honoured with intention and grace.

I live in the ancient village of Trawden, Lancashire, cradled by hills and winds, with Stan, my steadfast Staffie, and Jim and Kevin, my two feline guardians. My children have flown into their own lives, and I find deep joy in watching their journeys unfold.

My life’s work has always been rooted in gathering souls together — creating spaces where each voice is heard, each story is valued, each spirit is seen.
